COUNTRY HOUSE
The Casale Papa is an ideal location for some healthy, calm relaxation if that’s on your agenda. The Country House has six comfortable air-conditioned rooms each one with its own private bathroom. The Casale Papa is in Loreto in the Marches region, nestled below the Lauretan hills. It actually goes back 500 years, and has seen five generations of the Papa family, withholding its original characteristics. It has recently been completely renovated, and a splendid illuminated swimming pool has been built, which is also open at night for our clients exclusively – the perfect facility for a completely relaxing stay.
On the hill above, the majestic Sanctuary of the Madonna of Loreto is etched on the skyline, making this country house a place with a mystical atmosphere. (nearby the small church La Bandieruola can be visited, where the Black Madonna stopped during her flight from the Holy Land with the Angels)
The Country House, Casale Papa, can be reached on foot from Loreto via the ‘Scale Sante’ (Holy Steps). Nearby there are two cycling paths, as well as being located two minutes by car from the Adriatic seaside. About 10 kms from us you can visit RECANATI, and the home of the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi . Also nearby on the next hill, 10 kms away is CASTELFIDARDO, home to the accordion and the International Museum of the Accordion, as well as the National Monument of the Marches set in a splendid park of about 15.000 conifers. PORTO RECANATI, a thriving shopping and seaside town is 3 kms away, and home to the famous tenor, Beniamino Gigli, where his villa still stands today. There is a wonderful view from our country house of Monte Conero and its famous riviera, as well as the lovely beaches of Marcelli, Numana and SIrolo and the famous, tall-standing Due Sorelle rocks, within 10 minutes driving distance.

We have a charming, covered patio next to the Casale and adjacent to the swimming pool, an ideal place to spend some quiet time lounging on our comfortable sofas in our “open air’ lounge or at our tables on the patio.
